My personal connection song name is Ventura Highway by America and the genre of this song is country music. This song was written by Dewey Bunnell, a member of the band America. This song was not covered because they sang it first. The songwriter’s point of view of this song is about the sign in California that says Ventura and a highway that says Highway 101. There wasn’t no actual Ventura Highway. It was connected and they came up with the idea to write a song about it. The mesage I got for this song was about driving a long highway in the sunshine. My memory to this song is is when I go to my uncle’s house in Pennsylvania with my parents. On Songfacts.com, I saw a lot of positive comments about this song. See for your yourself. This song is a personal connection to my life. This song is a personal connection to my life because it reminds me of my hamster running his wheel whenever I put that song on, or whenever he randomly hears it somewhere in the house. He just starts to run to almost the whole song and he would just sometimes switch sides of where he want to run in the wheel. He often gets tired after hes done running in it, but surprisingly he keeps on running and he takes like only a a few seconds to catch his breath. When he takes a few second breaks to breath, he stares at me or my sister, Amanda, or my older brother, Luis when he turns his head towards us. It looks so cute! After the few seconds he just goes back to running in the wheel, even when there’s no music he’ll just run for fun. He also sometimes runs in the wheel when he has food inside of his mouth. It looks tiring while running with food in your mouth but for some reason he is used to it and keeps going. He’ll even run with food in his mouth while listening to the Car Wash song and keeps running when he takes like a 1 second break.

I have a dog for a pet. My dog is a Beagle mixed with a Pekingese. She is just 3 months old and I love my dog . Its good to have a dog because you can play with it, you can run around with it, you can teach it to do tricks, you can teach it to use the bathroom on the wee wee pads that is when it is a puppy, you can give it treats if they does a good job that helps you train it. i can’t walk my dog yet because its still a puppy and the doctor said she can’t go outside and walk until she is 4 or 5 months old. I can hardy wait.

Global warming is affecting our universe. Do you want to know what global warming is? Well the experts say it is the increase in the air surrounding the earth . That air is known as the atmospheric air. It affects the oceans as well. There's ways we can help but companies and factories need to reduce the carbon dioxide going into the air. Meanwhile , People need to stop putting trash on the floor and down the sewer drains. People should recycle your trash that you make. If your doing that you are helping the earth. Every year the earth gets hotter Global warming makes the weather rougher and stronger. So you will see strong wind storms, strong rain storms, strong snow storms, and strong lighting storms. This weather affect the animals that live in forest and this weather all so affect use too. We don’t not like a storm coming in to your area right?_? And try not to be outside when there is a storm in the air because you can get hurt if you go outside at that time.= / Hard storms are bad because it can destroy things like, a wind storm can destroy a house, a tree, and a fence. This is why we don’t like storms that happen in the world. Lots of money is lost because of the destruction caused by these storms. Make sure you are safe from in any storm!_!

I’ve been bullied so much I felt like a dog in an animal shelter and you shouldn’t end up being bruised and injured like me when I was bullied. If you were a victim of bullying, please TELL somebody. For example, Prinicipal, Assisant principal, Mom, Dad, Teacher etc. These people are here to talk to you and help you get over your fear of bullying. Over a million people have been bullied ever since the time when college freshman Tyler Clementi jumped to his death on the George Washington Bridge. Why? because he was recorded by his two classmates in his school having a sexual relationship with another man. He respected the people around him. He should not be allowed to be picked on because of his same sex relationship even if it’s wrong or not. His college classmates didn’t respect him because it wasn’t right to them. If you can stop bullying with me, we can make this world a special place for victims of bullying and then we’ll move on and conquer domestic violence because hey the bullies learned it from somewhere.

My name is Ashley Mangual and what I am most passion about are hamsters. There are five different types of hamsters. The five different types are Syrian, Dwarf Campbell Russian, Dwarf Winter White Russian, Roborovski, and the Chinese hamsters. My hamster is called a Teddy Bear hamster, which is also called a Syrian. Syrian hamsters are from Syria, which is located in the middle east south of Turkey. Hamsters can grow only up to five inches long and they can live two to three years. Hamsters mostly love to eat vegetables, fruits, grains and seeds. My hamster is a cousin of the Syrian hamsters. Fluffy likes to walk around in his cage ball, loves to chew on his rainbow colored hamster treats, and what he really loves to do is run in his wheel to his favorite song by a band called “Rose Royce”.

My class has been learning and Debating Music Downloads because we learned that downloading music can be legal or illegal. I've heard that adults are downloading illegal music and children are doing it too! People across the United States and maybe the world are downloading music that doesn't have the ownership or license from other music websites but are still using it to get free music instead of paying for it. I think downloading music is legal because I have a software called LimeWire where i can get free songs and it goes to my iTunes library and Apple, the company that made iTunes doesn't send me a notice that i've been downloading illegal songs from different programs. When you pay for songs you like from iTunes, it charges you because it knows you brought a song or content that you don't have at an expensive price.
